The fitness and wellness sector has a great responsibility in front of them and at the same time an incredible opportunity to grow. Like Westminster and other European governments, Brussels is battling against obesity that is spreading rapidly.

Founder and ex’executive director of the Cannons group, and new president of the European Health and Fitness Association (EHFA), will explain how clubs can play a fundamental role in contributing and resolving this concern that interests all industrialized countries.

Taking advantage of generous financial support given freely by the  European Community can be used to persuade an always greater number of Europeans to get physically moving more and more often.

Tegelaars urges operators to become aware of the role they must play, by taking initiative, or suggesting to institutions efficient solutions to the question of sedentary lifestyle/obesity.
