A professional window on the Italian market
Organized by the specialized magazine Il Nuovo Club, the ninth edition of Forum Il Nuovo Club – International Congress and Trade Show for Fitness, Wellness and Aquatic Clubs – will take place in Verona, at the Centro Congressi-Palaexpo, on February 22nd, 23rd and 24th.
It is an appointment for professional operators of fitness clubs, wellness centers, swimming pools, sports centers and recreational structures, the only Italian business to business event dedicated to the fitness and health sector.
It’s a professional window on the Italian market, one of the most important in Europe, made of 8.000 fitness/wellness clubs (an overall number of 15.000 structures adding swimming pools and sports clubs) and many companies of which some are among the biggest in the world.
Forum Il Nuovo Club Trade Show
All accredited operators will be allowed, free of charge, to the exhibition area, a wide trade show representing all the commercial categories belonging to the wellness industry, including the swimming pool and beauty/aesthetician divisions. More than 10,000 square meters will be occupied by a hundred of booths and visited by thousands of visitors.
Last year 3,400 operators – owners and managers of fitness clubs, wellness clubs, sporting facilities and swimming pools, directors of medical, rehabilitation centers, instructors and thermal centers – joined the event. 800 of them were registered in the congress program.
Forum Il Nuovo Club Congress
The professionals who wants to keep themselves up-to-date on the evolution of the fitness and wellness industry by acquiring new tools and confronting with other operators cannot miss such an event. The congressional program will deal with the main topics regarding club management: an international dream team made of key note speakers and guest stars will catch the attention of the audience.
Jim Love, former coach of the legendary New Zealander All Blacks team, will explain how the world of rugby is a powerful inspiration source for mangers and operators who have to manage their working teams every day.
Harm Tegelaars, founder and executive director of the Cannons Group, recently appointed President of the European Health and Fitness Association (EHFA), boasts a great experience in the industry. He will offer an interesting analysis of the present and future scenario of the fitness and wellness sector.
Among the many novelties, Sue Anstiss – founder and owner of the British consulting company Promote Public Relations – will hold, in a very uncommon way, two captivating sessions that will deal with marketing and communication.
Casey Conrad, one of the most renowned consultant in the international scenario, will hold a one-day seminar dedicated to salling and a further session during which she will explain how to turn the personal training service into a successful business.
An international panel discussion will involve valued professionals from USA, United Kingdom, Holland and Turkey who will give additional hints and tips from an international perspective.
The Aquatic Management Congress
The Congress Aquatic Management will be the educational corollary to an exhibition area able to attract the companies of the water, spa&beauty sector.
Marco Tornatore, executive director of the European Aquatic Association, will illustrate the rising trends and speak about the activities planning in the aquafitness field. He will compare different schools too.
Lionello Ambrosi, vice president of the Sports and Leisure Equipments and Facilities Commission of UNI, will deal with a very important topic: water hygiene.
An renowned company that manages swimming pools will hold a session dedicated to safety in the swimming pool.
A technological area will offer further sessions dedicated to the new technical solutions, while the Italian Swimming Federation chose the Forum Il Nuovo Club to present the Swimming World Championship that will take place in Rome in 2009.
